For the past 10 years, I’ve owned and operated KC Bee Lady, a small business built from the ground up right here in Missouri. And from day one, I’ve handled the bookkeeping too.

That means I understand small business from both sides of the desk. I know what it’s like to keep up with income and expenses, track receipts, reconcile accounts, manage inventory, prepare records for tax time, and make sure the numbers make sense - all while actually running the business.

Owning KC Bee Lady has also taught me something you can’t learn from an accounting textbook: small business bookkeeping has to work in the real world. Business owners are busy. Things get hectic. Receipts pile up. Seasons change. Expenses fluctuate. And sometimes you simply need someone dependable to help keep the financial side organized.

That experience is a big part of why I started Have Faith Bookkeeping. I bring more than 26 years of accounting experience to my clients, but I also bring 10 years of firsthand experience as a small business owner.

I don’t just understand the books. I understand the business behind them.
