About Have Faith Bookkeeping

For more than 26 years, accounting has been more than numbers on a page for me. Behind every invoice, payroll entry, job cost and bank reconciliation is a real business—and behind that business are people who have worked incredibly hard to build something that matters to them.

That’s why I started Have Faith Bookkeeping.

I believe good bookkeeping should be accessible to every business, not just companies that have reached a certain revenue level. Whether you're working toward your first big year or running an established multimillion-dollar business, you deserve someone who takes your books—and your business—as seriously as you do.

Over the years, I’ve worked extensively in accounting, with particular experience in construction and job costing. I’ve learned that good bookkeeping isn't simply about keeping everything balanced. It's about knowing where your business stands, catching the things that don't look right, keeping the details organized, and giving you financial information you can actually rely on.

And then there’s the name.

Have Faith is personal to me. My faith has carried me through many seasons of my life, and the values that come from it are the same ones I want this business built upon: integrity, honesty, kindness, hard work and treating people the way I would want to be treated.

You don't have to share my faith to work with me. You just need to know that when you trust me with your business, I understand that trust means something.

I also know what it's like to sit on the other side of the books. For the past 10 years, I’ve owned and operated KC Bee Lady, a beekeeping and honey business I built from the ground up. Being a small-business owner myself has given me an even deeper appreciation for the long hours, difficult decisions, uncertainty and pride that come with creating something of your own.

That experience is a big part of why Have Faith Bookkeeping matters to me. I don't just understand small business from an accounting perspective. I understand what it means to own one, grow one, worry about one and believe in one.
